Quick Sniffs - Foundations of Detection: Nose Work for Your Dog

Take your dog's natural sniffing instincts and turn them into a skill that is a fun, stimulating activity that any dog can do!

Quick Sniffs will take your dog from knowing nothing about detection to doing full searches in your living room, at the park, or wherever you want to take it. Quick Sniffs sets the foundation for more advanced and complex detection work. This 6-week course will cover the basics of detection and nose work:

equipment used in detection training
how to build hunt drive
how to introduce odor
how to teach an indication
and much more

Dogs participating in this course should have some basic obedience and be able to be around other dogs. Each owner/dog team will be provided their own odor kit and the use of other materials/equipment used for this course.

**We will be using essential oils for the odor work. if you have a sensitivity to essential oils, questions, or concerns, please contact Advance K9 prior to registration.
